Moving My Political Work Outside the Classroom

Scott Ritchie is a Professor of Language and Literacy Education in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education at Kennesaw State University, where he also serves as affiliate faculty in the Gender and Women's Studies Program. Scott's research interests include historical and dialectical materialism, critical literacy, anti-colonialism and anti-imperialism, the oppression of women, and teacher education for social justice. Scott's recent work explores the relationship between the political economy and various forms of oppression such as gender, race, and ability.
