Andrew Tonkovich is a Lecturer at UC Irvine and member of University Council-American Federation of Teachers, the union representing Librarians and Lecturers. He is the long-time editor of the West Coast literary journal Santa Monica Review, and hosts Bibliocracy Radio, a books show and podcast on KPFK's Pacifica Radio in Southern California. His fiction, reviews and nonfiction have appeared in Best American Nonrequired Reading, Ecotone, Los Angeles Times, OC Weekly and Los Angeles Review of Books. He co-edited the first-ever literary survey of Orange County, Orange County: A Literary Field Guide, and is author of a novella collection, The Dairy of Anne Frank and More Wish Fulfilment in the Noughties.
